Q: Does Northwoods Santa have a screening policy for Santa?

Yes. It is the policy of Northwoods Santa to conduct an annual screening or background check on any employee who will interact with children. The screening includes a national criminal records database search and a national sexual offender database search. We also maintain liability insurance.

Q: Is there a travel fee?

Northwoods Santa does not charge a travel or service fee for all visits within a 10 mile radius of Spooner, Wisconsin. For visits outside of the 10 miles radius from Spooner, Wisconsin, please inquire about a service/travel fee.

Q: Does Santa travel outside of the Northwoods of Wisconsin?

Santa Jeff will consider travel outside of the Northwoods of Wisconsin. Most proposals will be considered, but must include travel and accommodation compensation along with the visit fee.

Price Transparency: We believe that customers should know up front what they will get and how much it will cost when they hire Santa Jeff. To make your decision easier, we are instituting a standard fee schedule across all events, visits, and Santa engagements.

Home Visits

Santa will come to your home or other appropriate and mutually agreed upon location. While at the visit, Santa is able to do any of the following:

Make a grande entrance or be seated when guests arrive

Chat and mingle

Sit/stand for as many pictures as you desire within the limits of the visit

Visit with children to answer their questions and listen to their wishlist

Hand out presents provided by the household

Additional requests will be considered.

Pricing:

The first hour fee is $75. Each additional 30 minute period will be charged at $37.50.

For home visits, it is recommended to keep the visit to 60 minutes unless there are more than 10 people in attendance. A maximum of 90 – 120 minutes is recommended.

Corporate & Community Events

Santa will attend your corporate or community event. Among the things that Santa is able to do are the following:

Mingle with people to lighten their spirits and bring them cheer.

Act as the Master of Ceremonies

Help light a Christmas or Holiday tree

Pose for pictures

Hand out gifts provided by the customer

Additional requests will be considered.

Visits at The Palace Theater

Visits at the theater are scheduled for your convenience. You will have a private, 20-minute visit. During your time with Santa, you are welcome to take as many pictures as you want. You may even bring a professional photographer at your own expense. On limited dates/times, we will also accommodate family pets.

Pricing:

Each 20-minute session may be reserved for $25.

Santa called each of us by name (like only Santa knows) and took his time with each of us, asking thoughtful questions, sharing stories, and making everyone feel special. He was willing to take multiple poses with multiple families but to be honest, there wasn't a bad one in the bunch! The photos turned out beautiful—full of laughter, wonder, and the kind of joy you can’t fake.
